Find Out How to Do More With Fewer Implants
The all four implants supported fixed prosthesis, it’s for patients who have hopeless teeth. So…or no teeth at all. So what we do, we basically remove all the teeth, the top arch and the bottom arch of course, while you’re asleep and we come in and put the implants on the top and bottom. Usually four implants on the top or six and four implants on the bottom or six as well. And we’ll give you time to heal and after you heal for about three, four months and during the healing period we will make you prosthesis to wear a healing transitional prosthesis to wear in your mouth. Just transitional period you wear so you can have something to function with and to smile with. Okay so don’t worry about taking your teeth out and having to go with no teeth. No, we’ll have those transitional prosthesis in your mouth, the healing prosthesis and to completely heal. About two and a half months, three months once the gums heal around your implant and form we’ll get you back and we start making you the All-in-X which is basically a fixed zirconia ceramic prosthesis that gets fixated up on and secured onto your implants on the top arch and the bottom arch and these do not come out of your mouth compared to the additional dentures. They stay in and they are the closest thing you have to natural teeth. Some of the happiest patients in our practice are the ones who got the type of treatment because usually the maintenance afterwards is very low. You only mainly need to use a Waterpik to clean underneath that prosthesis and we’ll go in details once you come and visit us about All-in-X and you know the steps and what we need to do to achieve that treatment for you.
